S-ware
The S-ware system software is preconfigured on the optional PC, type: MacBook Air of
Apple Inc. Cupertino CA: as soon as the S-rack and the MacBook Air are supplied with
power and are connected to each other by LAN cable (supplied accessories), the system
can be started up.
After opening the MacBook Air, the S-ware Start screen is displayed, see section
“Starting the system” on page 51. For further information on the functions and on
handling the MacBook Air, refer to the Apple Inc. documentation supplied with it.
S-ware is a server application that should run without interruptions
whenever possible. Therefore, to avoid data loss, make sure that
you do not shut down the connected MacBook Air during operation!
