If the temperature falls below the enable temperature of the heating
circuits, the oil-fired boiler is started. The preset target temperature
for the oil-fired boiler is calculated from the outdoor temperature,
characteristic heating curve, room temperature, parallel shift and oil-
fired boiler overtemperature. When the oil-fired boiler reaches either
its preset temperature or the
Max. oil-fired boiler temp.
it switches off, restarting when it has cooled down by the amount of
the oil-fired boiler hysteresis.
If two different enable temperatures have been specified for hot
water and for heating circuits, and if there is no demand on the hot
water tank, the oil-fired boiler will only start once the temperature
has fallen below the enable temperature for the heating circuits.
If there is no demand on the heating circuits or for hot water and if
the buffer is under the enable temperature, the oil-fired boiler must
maintain the
Min. oil-fired boiler temp.
(e.g. for summer
operation).
If the oil-burner is in operation, the enable temperatures of the
“loads” (heating circuits, hot water tank) are compared with the
temperature of the oil-fired boiler and are used as reference values.
