8.3 Object directory
You can use the two modules “Object Dictionary Read” and “Object Dictionary Write” to
access each object in the object directory listed here. Depending on the object, it can
either be read, written, or both.
In accordance with the method required by CiA461 and standard for CAN communication,
the selection of the individual objects is based on Index and Subindex.
To be able to read a specific object, a write command must be written to the “Object
Dictionary Read” module by the controller. Using object 0x6013 (number of decimal
places) as an example, this can look as follows:
