ERA 150 Wash User Guide
Introduction
The ERA 150 Wash is a fast, powerful LED moving head wash effect
incorporating seven long-life LEDs with full RGBW color mixing and 48 color
presets. The fixture also provides smooth electronic dimming, strobe effects,
and a motorized zoom with an angle that varies from 5.1° to 58.6° (field
angle, one-tenth peak) or 4.2° to 38.7° (beam angle, half-peak). It can be
controlled by any DMX-compliant controller. The rugged, lightweight and
compact fixture is suitable for both portable and fixed applications.
The fixture is supplied with this user manual and a Martin omega bracket for
fastening a rigging clamp to the fixture base.
Before using the product for the first time
1. Read
on page 3 before installing, operating or
servicing the fixture.
2. Unpack and ensure that there is no transportation damage before using
the fixture. Do not attempt to operate a damaged fixture.
3. Check that the voltage and frequency of the local power source match
the mains power requirements of the fixture.
4. Either hard-wire the fixture to an AC mains power source or provide a
power input cable and local power plug as described in this manual and
connect to an AC mains power outlet.
5. Check the support pages on the Martin Professional website at
www.martin.com for the most recent user documentation and technical
information about the fixture. Martin user manual revisions are identified
by the revision letter at the bottom of the inside cover.
Be prepared for the fixture head to move and be prepared for the fixture to
suddenly emit bright light when power is applied. Note that whenever AC
power is applied to the fixture, it will reset all effects and functions to their
home positions. A reset usually takes around 20 seconds.
