Thread a clevis onto the 23

-inch (590mm) threaded
pushrod for the elevator. Slide the pushrod into the tube
nearest the elevator control horn and attach the clevis to
the horn as shown.
Step 5
Use a felt-tipped pen to mark the pushrod where it crosses
the outer hole on the servo horn.
Step 2
Wrap the receiver battery in foam and secure it inside
the fuselage. The receiver is placed on top of the battery
(or locate as necessary to achieve balance). Make sure
to isolate the receiver from vibrations by placing foam
between it and the fuselage structure.
Note
: When using a remote receiver, place
it as far as possible from the main receiver
and at a different level in the fuselage for the
best results. The higher the remote receiver
can be mounted in the fuselage the better.
Step 3
Secure the switch to the side of the fuselage. When
using a glow engine, the switch will be on the side of the
fuselage opposite the exhaust.
