Step 11
Place 2–3 drops of thin CA in each hole to harden the
surrounding wood. This harder surface will make the screws
less likely to vibrate loose.
Step 12
After preparing the throttle servo with the appropriate
hardware, secure it in the radio tray using the screws
provided with the servo.
Step 13
Remove the servo horn from the servo. Use a pin drill and
5/64-inch (1.5mm) drill bit to enlarge the hole that is 1/2-
inch (13mm) from the center of the center of the horn.
Step 14
Use side cutters to remove any excess arms from the servo
horn so they don’t interfere with the operation of the throttle.
Step 15
Insert the brass pushrod connector in the hole enlarged
previously. Use a connector backplate to secure the
connector to the servo horn.
