5 SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
5.1 Servicing Record
1. Grease: Use an SAE multi-purpose high temperature grease with extreme
pressure (EP) characteristics. Also acceptable is an SAE multipurpose lithium
based grease.
2. Lubricants: Your unit can oper ate at top efficiency only if clean lubr icants
are used. Use clean containers to handle all lubricants. Store them in an area
protected from dust, moisture and other contaminants. Gearbox on Model 2958
takes 300ml of SAE 80W-90 Gear Oil.
