Checking the coolant level
Check the coolant level in the expansion tank
daily and refill as
required.
1. Place the vehicle on a level surface and hold it with the parking brake.
Switch the engine off and pull out the ignition key. Let the engine cool
down.
2. Open the right side panelling, see page 102.
3. Check the coolant level.
The coolant level of the expansion tank
must be between
the upper and lower mark
when the engine has cooled
down.
4. Unscrew the cap
carefully step by step from the expansion
tank.
5. Refill coolant:
Coolant: Glaceelf Auto Supra
The coolant additive must be at least 40 % and may be a maximum of
60 %. Never drive without coolant additive!
6. Check the coolant level, refill once again if necessary.
7. Close the cap again.
