Set the terminal emulation
Powering On the Device
Verifying Before Power-On
Before powering on the device verify that:
z
The power cable and ground cable are properly connected.
z
The power supply voltage is within the range labeled on the device.
z
The console cable is properly connected, the configuration terminal to be used for configuration is
running, and the terminal parameters have been set.
Boot Process
After being powered on, the device (take the WX3024 as an example) first implements memory
initialization and then runs the extended program of BootWare. The following system information is
output on the terminal:
System is starting...
Booting Normal Extend BootWare....
The Extend BootWare is self-decompressing.................
Done!
