Navigation Features and Controls

FEATURES AND
CONTROlS
This section describes navigation
features.
The navigation system allows you
to plan a route and provides
turn-by-turn iOUte and map
guidance with voice prompts.
The navigation system also allows
you to select a destination using
various methods and choices
(street addresses, intersections,
destinations stored in memory,
points of interest, etc.) .

The navigation system is designed
to assist you while driving, but it is
possible that the information in
the system may not always be
complete.
Road conditions, such as no turns,
detours and construction, change
frequently.
it is important
to consider whelher
or not you can safely and legally
follow the directions given by the
system.
Once the vehicle is moving,
various functions will be disabled
to limit driver distraction.
In order to use navigation
mapping features, the mapping
data
DVD
must be loaded in the
map DVD loading slot.
