Overview
Hard Keys
The following hard keys are
located on the outside of the
Navigation System screen:
•
Power/Volume Knob
Press the knob to turn the
system on or off.
Rotate the power/volume knob
to the right to increase the
volume and to the left to
decrease the volume.

NAV RPT (navigation repeat)

if the map screen is already
displayed, you may press this
button to have the system
repeat the last voice prompt .
•
NAV (navigation) Hard Key
Press this button to go to the
navigation map screen.
If no route has been planned,
the map screen that appears
will show the following
information:
-the north or heading up
symbol
-time
-map scales
-current radio station
frequency
If a route has been planned,
the first press of the
NAV
button will also display the
following:
-the number of miles/
kilometers remaining until
you reach your final
destination
-the estimated time to your
destination if the estimated
travel time function is on
- highlighted route or turn-by-
turn instructions
