Be especially careful when changing the running
direction on slopes.
Do not change the controlled engine setting and do
not race the engine.
Start the engine carefully, following the
manufacturer's instructions.
Provide a sufficient distance of your legs from the
appliance.
Never put your hands or legs above or under the
rotating parts.
If the appliance does not work properly, it must be
immediately stopped and switched off. Have the
failure removed at once.
If there is a risk of slipping on slopes, the appliance
must be held by an accompanying person using a rod
or a cable. The accompanying person above the
vehicle must be in a sufficient distance from the
working tools! Work across slopes at all times if
possible!
Switch the engine off:
- when leaving the appliance,
- before refuelling.
Caution:
Petrol is highly flammable:
Store the petrol in appropriate containers only. Refuel
outdoors only and do not smoke when refuelling.
Refuel before starting the engine.
Do not open the fuel filler cap or refuel when the
engine is running or if heated up to the operating
temperature.
Do not try to start the engine if petrol overflows. Wipe
the area polluted by petrol instead. Any attempt at
starting combined with open fire or possible
production of sparks is prohibited until patrol vapours
have disappeared. For safety reasons, the petrol tank
and other tank caps must be replaced if damaged.
Attention
Work cautiously and use common sense. Do not use
the appliance when you are tired. The appliance must
not be used when you are under the influence of
alcohol, drugs or pharmaceuticals that may evoke
tiredness.
Check whether the parts are not defective or
leaking
If protective equipment or other parts of the appliance
have been damaged, it is necessary to check and
make sure the operation will be safe before using the
appliance the next time. All damaged parts must be
repaired or replaced in a service shop or replaced
according to instructions mentioned in the Operating
Instructions.
Appropriate using of the appliance
When operating the appliance, please follow all the
instructions of this manual. Do not let children or
persons not familiarised with the appliance function
use the appliance.
Do not use the appliance if defective
If the appliance makes abnormal sound or vibrates
intensively or seems to be defective in any other
manner when being operated, it must be immediately
stopped; have the cause identified in the nearest
customer service.
Original spare parts to be used only
Your claims arising from the warranty will not apply if
spare parts of other manufacturers are used. Using
other spare parts may lead to appliance malfunction.
Original spare parts may be obtained from our
contractual dealers.
Not to be used in closed rooms.
Do not use the
crawler transporter in closed rooms as it may produce
dangerous waste products.
Risk of burn!
The exhaust temperature may reach
up to 80°C.
Transport of persons!
Do not use the appliance to
transport any persons.
Do not make any change to the appliance
Do not make any change to the appliance. Contact
the customer service for any repairs. Any
unauthorised change may have a negative impact on
the appliance performance; however, it may also
cause severe injuries if made by a person not
possessing adequate technical knowledge.
The safety and protective equipment subject to
servicing or repair must immediately be refitted in a
proper manner.
Knowing the safety regulations applicable in the place
where the appliance is used and any other generally
recognised safety regulations is absolutely
necessary.
Before using the appliance, it is necessary to check
the safety equipment. Make sure the parts that are
evidently damaged just to some extent work properly.
Unless otherwise provided in these Operating
Instructions, the damaged parts and safety equipment
must be repaired or replaced in an authorised service
centre.
Have any damaged switches replaced in an
authorised service centre.
This appliance corresponds to all applicable safety
regulations. Any repairs may only be executed by
qualified electricians in authorised service centres
using original spare parts. Failing to do so may lead
to injuries.
Emergency procedures
Administer first aid according to injury and call for qualified
medical assistance. Protect injured person against other
injuries and keep him/her in rest.
For reasons of potential injury, a first aid box
according to DIN 13164 must be available on
workplace. Replenish immediately material used from
the first aid box. If you require medical assistance,
give the following information:

Use as designated
Transport of heavy loose and piece materials of any sort in
landscaping, around the house and in the garden and in
crafts and industry. Including 6.5 PS Briggs & Stratton
engine.
Disposal
Disposal instructions are illustrated in the form of
pictograms on the device or packaging. Description of the
pictograms is given in "Identification" chapter.
Disposal of transport packaging
Packaging protects the device against damage during
transport. Packaging materials are usually selected
according to their effect on environment and disposal
methods and can therefore be recycled.
Returning of the packaging back to circulation saves
resources and costs for packaging disposal.
Parts of the packaging (e.g. foil, styropor) may be
dangerous for children.
Risk of suffocation!
Keep these parts of the packaging out of reach of children
and dispose as soon as possible.
Operator requirements
The operators must thoroughly read operation manual
before use.
