Paging
A signal is sent from the base station to the mobile unit.
It enables you to look for lost mobile units within range.
Parking/holding
A T-Net function which temporarily puts a call on hold
to allow queries.
PIN
The abbreviation for Personal Identification Number.
Serves to prevent unauthorised use of certain functions.
R button (signal button)
Telephones equipped with an R button can be
connected to telecommunication systems and use their
range of functions.
Recording
Recording of telephone calls (memo function), a
function of the activated answering machine. It allows
calls to be recorded, even while in progress.
Redial if engaged
This is a T-Net function which redials a number which
was engaged as soon as the call is finished.
Remote query
A function of the (activated) answering machine. You
can listen to messages, delete them or change the
announcement from a different telephone.
Repeat dialling
The last ten numbers you called can be stored and then
redialled, even if you have made other calls in
between.
Room surveillance
This function allows you to listen to what is happening
inside a room via the telephone network. The function
is PIN-protected and required an activated answering
machine.
