Positioning/Range
Place the base station in a central and freely accessible
position in the area in which you want to use the
telephone.
Depending on the ambient conditions, the range in the
open air is up to 300 metres. Inside buildings, depend-
ing on the structure and design, the maximum range is
50 metres.
There may be dead spots due to the design of the
building. These may cause gaps in transmission.
If the field strength is insufficient, the connection will be
cut off after a short time.
Place a non-slip mat or cloth under the base station.
Normally, the feet of the device will not leave any
unwanted marks. However, given the wide variety of
varnish and polish used on furniture, the possibility of
the device leaving marks cannot be completely
excluded if it comes into contact with furniture.
Grundig will accept no liability for damage of this
kind.
Do not operate the base station or charging unit
outdoors or in places subject to frost.
The recommended temperature for operating the base
station is +5°C – +40°C, and the relative air humidity
is 20 % – 75 %.
There must be a 230 V~ mains socket for the power
supply where the base station is positioned.
Note:
You cannot use the telephone during a power cut.
