Dialling method
You only need to change the dialling method if your
telephone system does not use the tone dialling
method, which is preset. You can set either MFV (multi-
ple frequency/tone dialling) or IWV (pulse dialling).
Please refer to the instruction manual of your telephone
system.

Entering the exchange code and
dial pause
The exchange code (often ”0”) required to access
the exchange can be stored, so that direct access
can be selected from a memory (repeat dial/telephone
book/call list). Since the stored exchange code is also
dialled before manual dialling, internal calls with in
the system can only be made by pressing a special
button (»

«) so that it detects that it is an
internal call. This special button must be pressed
together with a dialling pause for internal calls before
dialling the subscriber number. The exchange code can
only be deactivated by deleting it. Settings in the tele-
communications system often also mean that the
exchange code is automatically dialled. In this case, do
not program an exchange code. Please read the
instruction manual of your telecommunications system
for more details.
