Baseboards and Ribbon Boards — Required

BASEBOARD (REQUIRED)

A customer-supplied baseboard is required.

Minimum baseboard dimensions: 2" x 6".

Use treated

lumber for best results if allowed.

Baseboard runs length of frame at ground level and helps

prevent ground posts from working loose when anchored.

Baseboards are supplied by customer; these are not

included. Fasteners (1/4" x 4" carriage bolts, washers,

and nuts) to secure baseboards to rafters

are included

RIBBON BOARD (REQUIRED)

A customer-supplied ribbon board (also known as a

hip board) is required to provide a mounting surface for

u-channel along each side.

Customer supplies materials

for ribbon board; fasteners to secure ribbon board

to frame are included. Recommended ribbon board

dimensions are shown below. Use treated lumber for

best results if allowed.
