INSTALL POLY LATCH U-CHANNEL — TWO (2) RUNS ALONG EACH SIDE

Gather parts and tools:

• Aluminum U-Channel (102197)
• FA4652 wood screws (spaced every 16")

Complete these steps:
1. Attach one section of poly latch u-channel to ribbon board using FA4652 wood screws

spaced every 16"

. Attach

u-channel flush with outside edge of ribbon board and near top of ribbon board. See example below. (Actual frame

may differ.) Dashed line shows u-channel position.

This u-channel used to secure cover and side panel to frame.

ATTENTION:

Mark wood screw locations on u-channel (102197) sections at 16" intervals and predrill mounting

holes using a 3/16" drill bit. Then attach u-channel to ribbon board using FA4652 wood screws.

2.  Continue attaching u-channel sections to ribbon board and work toward other end of frame.
3.  Cut last section of u-channel to required length (if needed) so it is flush with end of ribbon board.
4.  Repeat steps to attach a

second run of u-channel below the first

to same ribbon board. This u-channel used to

secure top of roll-up side panel.

IMPORTANT:

Allow at least 1/2" to 1" space between the u-channel runs for installation of eye screws for anti-

billow ropes.

5. Once u-channel is secured to one side of the frame, repeat steps to attach u-channel to ribbon board along

remaining side of frame.

6. Continue with next procedure.

Attach Poly Latch U-Channel to Ribbon Board

•  Drill and 3/16" bit.
•  Tape measure and marker
•  100443 driver bit for drill
