Be alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating the power tool.
Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the infl uence of drugs, alcohol or medi-
cation. A moment of distraction during the use of the power tool may result in serious injury.
1.
Use safety equipment. Always wear protective goggles. Safety devices such as dust mask, non-
skid safety shoes, hard hat and ear protection if used properly will reduce personal injuries.
2.
Avoid accidental activation. Before connecting the device make sure that the switch is in the
OFF position. Placing a fi nger on the switch during moving or connecting the devices to the
power supply the switch in the ON position increases the risk of accidents.
3.
Do not lean excessively. While working adopt a stable position. This ensures better control of
the power tool in the event of unexpected situations.
4.
Wear appropriate attire. Do not wear loose items of clothing or jewelry. Keep hair, clothes
and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair can get caught stuck
in moving parts.
5.
If the apparatus were provided to extract and collect dust, make sure that they are connected
and used in an appropriate manner. Use of these devices can reduce the risk of dust.
MEDICAL ALARM
- Damage caused by airless spray
In the case of fl uid penetration through the skin,
IMMEDIATELY CALL FOR AN AMBULANCE. THIS SHOULD NO BE NEGRLECTED
High pressure liquids from the spray device or leaks have suffi
cient strength to penetrate the skin and
can cause very serious injuries, which can lead to eventual amputation.
Risks associated with toxic liquids
Hazardous liquids or toxic fumes can cause serious injury or even death when splashed on the skin or
eyes, or if they are inhaled or ingested. You must know the dangers associated with the liquid you are
using. Hazardous liquids must be stored and dispose of in a manner consistent with the guidelines
provided by the manufacturer and designated at a local, regional and national level.
ALWAYS
use safety glasses, gloves, clothing and respirator as recommended by the manufacturer of
the fl uid.
Spraying and cleaning with fl ammable paints and thinners.
1.
When spraying fl ammable liquids, the device must be at least 6 meters away from the area
being sprayed in a well-ventilated area. The power of the ventilation should be suffi
cient to
prevent accumulation of vapors.
2.
To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground spraying equipment, paint bucket and the object be-
ing sprayed.
3.
Hold the metal part of the gun at the side of a metal bucket and during rinsing use the lowest
possible liquid pressure.
4.
Never use high pressure during cleaning.
USE MINIMUM PRESSURE
Do not smoke in the spray/cleaning area.
NEVER
use cleaning solvents with a fl ash point below 60
degrees C. Some of them are: acetone, benzene, ether, gasoline, kerosene.
