Safe operation instructions for airless spray machines
The following warnings apply to the settings, use, grounding, maintenance, and repair of this device.
An exclamation mark indicates a general warning and the hazard symbol indicates the presence of risk
associated with the procedure. When these symbols appear in the text of the manual or on the label,
you should return to these warnings. In the appropriate places in the text of this manual may appear
danger symbols and warnings related to a specifi c product, which is not described in this section.
FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARD
Flammable fumes from solvents and paints located in the workspace, can ignite or explode.
To prevent the outbreak of fi re or explosion you must:
1.
Avoid spraying fl ammable and combustible materials in the vicinity of open fl ames or sources
of ignition, e.g. cigarettes, engines and electric appliances.
2.
Paint or solution fl owing through the equipment may cause the emergence of static electricity.
Static electricity creates a risk of fi re or explosion in the presence of paint or solvent fumes.
3.
Verify that all containers and collecting systems are grounded to prevent discharge of Do not
use bucket linings, if they do not have anti-static properties or aren’t conductive.
4.
Do not use paints and solvents containing halogenated hydrocarbons.
5.
Ensure good ventilation of the space in which spraying takes place. Maintain an adequate fl ow
of fresh air in this space. Keep the pump module in a well ventilated area. Do not spray on the
pump module.
6.
In this area, do not smoke.
7.
In the area of spraying does not use light switches, engines, or similar products that generate
sparks.
8.
The area must be kept clean. They cannot be containers with paint or solvents, rags or other
fl ammable materials in the area.
9.
You should check the composition of spray paint and solvents. Material Safety Data Sheets
(MSDS) and the labels on containers for paint and solvents. Follow the safety instructions of
the manufacturer of paint and solvents.
10.
On site there should be effi
cient fi re-fi ghting equipment.
11.
The spraying device generates sparks. If in the spray device or near it, or for fl ushing or cleaning
fl ammable fl uid is used, hold the spray device at least 6 m away from explosive vapors.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
1.
Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Do not change the plug in any way. Do not
connect any other adapter (adapters) to the grounded power tools. The use of unmod-
ifi ed plugs and matching sockets reduces the likelihood of electric shock.
2.
Grounded tools must be plugged into and properly installed and grounded outlet in
accordance with all standards and regulations. You must not remove the grounding pin
or modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs. In the event of doubt as
to whether the outlet is properly grounded, consult a qualifi ed electrician. If the power
tools begin to operate in a faulty manner or deteriorates, grounding provides a path of
low resistance to discharge electricity from the user.
3.
Avoid body contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, refrigerators. When the
user’s body is grounded, the likelihood of electric shock increases.
4.
Do not expose power tools to rain or moisture. Water entering the power tool will increase the
risk of electric shock.
5.
Use cables for their intended purpose. Never use the cable for carrying, pulling or unplugging
the power tool from the socket. Keep the cable away from heat, oil and sharp edges of moving
