10. Use an indelible marker to identify the hoses on
the seed hose ports (6) 1 through 12. (Hoses not
shown.)
11. Disconnect the clamps and remove the hoses.
Further disassembly of the airbox is not
recommended as joints are sealed with
silicon adhesive, and would need to be
cleaned and resealed before use.
12. Inspect the airbox. Break up any build-up. Use a
hooked tool or wire to pull smalled fragments
through the clean-out doors.
13. Break up any buildup. Use a seed tube brush,
hooked tool, or wire to clean out smaller
fragments. Use a vacuum to clean out the rest.
14. With all three doors open, operate the planter fan
to blow any remaining loose debris.
15. Reconnect the seed hoses and secure with
clamps.
16. Close airbox clean-out doors.
17. Remove the airbox shut-off gate (3) and return to
storage position.
18. Loosen wing nuts and slide the airbox cover (2)
downwards to cover the airbox shut-off gate slot
(4) and re-secure wing nuts.
