Chapter 4 Removing and Replacing FRUs

4. Remove the HDD (or SSD) from the HDD (or SSD) unit.

(1) Check the drive number of the HDD (or SSD) and remove two screws (with

springs and large washers).

• Drive numbers for the T2 Pro 2/Pro are “1”, “2”, “3”, and “4” from the top. (For

the T2 Elite 2/Elite and the T2 Express 2/Express, “1” and “2” from the top.)

The following illustration describes the procedure of the HDD in the drive

number “1”. The procedure for removing other drives is the same.

(2) Remove the HDD (or SSD) from the HDD (or SSD) unit.

5. Remove the HDD (or SSD) from the storage mount frame.

(1) Remove four round screws.
(2) Remove the HDD (or SSD) from the storage mount frame.
