Chapter 4 Removing and Replacing FRUs

Front USB 3.0 board removal

Front USB 3.0 board is equipped on T2 Elite 2/Pro 2/Express 2.

1. In

"SSD (for the system) removal" on page 97

, perform the procedure up to step 4.

2. Remove the front panel.

• For more information, see

"Front panel removal" on page 107

3. Disconnect the cables.

(1) Remove the cable clip, and then disconnect the USB 3.0 cable.

• The cable is labeled as "USB 1".

(2) Remove the cable clip, and then disconnect the USB 3.0 cable.

• The cable is labeled as "USB 2".

4. Remove the front USB 3.0 board.

(1) Remove three screws (with external toothed washers).

(2) Remove the front USB 3.0 board in the direction of the arrow.
