Open the Logging parameters
2.
Configuration of where to store the
logs
–
RAM
–
Internal FLASH
–
USB (using a plugged in USB
memory stick, FAT32 or EXT4 for
-
matted).
For the messages to be available
after a re-start of the WLAN client
use
Internal FLASH
or
USB
.
3.
Configuration of the information that is
put into each line of a debug message.
4.
With
Dump Wireless
the WLAN board
is put into a special mode that allows
to save all sent and received data packets into a file. This file can then be ana
-
lyzed with the program Wireshark®.
5.
The same function as (4) but for the LAN interface.
6.
Here the intensity of the debug messages is set for the different software mod
-
ules. If e.g. the serial interface is of special interest the setting for
Debug Serial
can be changed from
Default
to
Detailed
in order to get finer information about
the serial communication. Maximum however can lead to lots of messages that
make the debug file grow in fast. This in turn can make debugging harder
instead of easier.
4.8.2 Start Debug Logging
The context menu of MC-Config‘s list view allows to transfer the debug logs from a
WLAN client to the MC-Config program.
