JACKING EQUIPMENT STORAGE
Restow the jacking equipment in
the proper storage areas.
To stow the equipment:
1. Return the equipment to the
tool bag.
2. Place the jack and wheel
blocks in the storage bag and
slide the straps through the
rings on the bag.
3. Place the jack storage bag
behind the tabs in the swing-
gate, on top of the tool bag.
4. Secure the jack and tool bag
with the wing nut retainer.
5. To re-install the cover, insert
the tabs into the holes on the
swing-gate.
Press the latches down firmly.
CAUTION
Storing a jack, a tyre or other
equipment in the passenger’s
compartment of the vehicle
could cause injury. In a sudden
stop or collision, loose equip-
ment could strike someone.
Store all these in the proper
place.
