Notes: 1) This kit is for one side. Order two kits for two sides.
2) This kit contains two card reader mounting brackets for different unit types. Ensure
that you use the correct mounting bracket.
Important Software Information
When installing an HCRS, the CRIND software for both sides must be upgraded to the latest
manufacturing release (minimum version for HCRS functionality is 03.4.06). However, it is
important to adhere to any Technical Resource Page (TRP) bulletins or any Gilbarco directive
to use the more recent approved software versions.
The software can be obtained by connecting to the Gilbarco extranet and downloading it using
the Gilbarco Laptop Tool. Software is loaded onto the CRIND with the FlexPay Maintenance
Tool (Basic or Advanced).
Notes: 1) You must be a Gilbarco-certified technician to have access to the Gilbarco extranet
and Gilbarco Laptop Tool/FlexPay Maintenance Tool.
2) Units may have an HCRS on one side and a Secure Card Reader (SCR) on the other
side.
