Regular thermal disinfection (TDI) is performed automatically to prevent harm to the unit being
caused by microbiological action. During this process the catalyst cartridge is isolated from the
drinking water supply by means of a valve, while a bypass in the valve ensures that the supply of
drinking water continues unaffected. The water in the stainless steel vessel is heated to 75°C
and left to act for 90 minutes before being flushed out.
JRG Coral force limescale conditioners leave the valuable minerals in the water
and do not cause softening. When water evaporates from tiles, fittings or
shower walls, the minerals are left on the surfaces; over time, residues build up.
