Set Wavelength:
When this option is selected, the screen shows the current wavelength setting.
WAVELENGTH:1550 nm
(Range: 1520-1570nm)
Use the arrow keys to set the desired wavelength value (range is 1520-1570nm for a C-
band unit), then press ENTER to update and store the wavelength setting to memory.
Like the GPIB address, the setting will be retained after the instrument is powered down.
Get Dynamic IP:
The instrument’s IP address must be known in order to control it via Ethernet.
See Section 4.4.3 for Ethernet setup details.
The “Get Dynamic IP” option sets the instrument for dynamic IP addressing and requests
a dynamic IP address from the server.
If the instrument is able to establish communication with the DHCP server and
successfully retrieve a dynamic IP address, the dynamic IP address will be displayed on-
screen.

If the dynamic IP address request is unsuccessful, the currently stored static IP address
will be displayed on this screen. If no static IP address has been stored by the user, the
address displayed will be 0.0.0.0.
Get Static IP:
Sets the instrument for static IP addressing and recalls the static IP address stored in
memory.
