and x-axis values to generate the corresponding data display. The size axis can only be
selected as the x-axis. Some examples are shown in the above figure (but not all possible
permutations) including:
•
Long Pass (PMT2) fluorescence histogram (image above, top/right frame). Displayed
by selecting “Histo” at the top and “PMT2” at the right.
Notes:
o
For fluorescence histograms, the binned data is defined by the size gated region
in the corresponding fluorescence vs. size histogram (image above, frame in the
top/middle for this example).
o
Bins are shaded red or green in the histogram as defined by whether the data
falls above or below, respectively, the fluorescent gate defined in the
corresponding fluorescence vs. size histogram (image above, frame in the
top/middle for this example)
o
The fluorescence channel being displayed is identified by the blue box at the top
left of the histogram (image above, top/right frame).
•
561nm/LP fluorescence vs size scatter plot (image above, bottom/left frame). Displayed
by selecting “PMT2” at the top and “Size” at the right. Note: The fluorescence channel
being displayed is identified by the red box at the top left of the scatter plot.
•
525/45nm fluorescence histogram (image above, bottom/middle frame). Displayed by
selecting “Histo” at the top and “PMT1” at the right.
Notes:

•
561nm/LP fluorescence vs 525/45 nm fluorescence (image above, bottom/right frame).
Displayed by selecting “PMT2” at the top and “PMT1” at the right. Note: By selecting a
PMT vs PMT (fluorescence vs fluorescence) display, the system automatically
implements the “web” or quadrant gating view.
