Warning

21.  Rear Windshield Defroster

To defrost or defog the rear window glass or 
outer rearview mirror, press this switch. 
The key should be in “ON” position, and the 
engine shall be started. 
The electrothermal wire on the inner side of 
the rear window will clear the window surface 
immediately. The indicator will go on, indicat-
ing that the defroster is in operation.
Press the switch once more to turn off the 
defroster. The system will disable the defrost 
function automatically 12 minutes after the 
defrost switch is turned on.

Notice

When cleaning the inner side of the win-
dow, be careful not to scratch or damage 
the electrothermal wire or connector.

Since the mirror surface will be heated, 
do not touch it when the defroster switch 
is turned on.
