2.   Release the Buckle

Press the release button on the buckle to re-
lease the seat belt.

Front Seat Belt Pretensioner

The seat belt pretensioner of the driver and 
front passenger will take effect in case of se-
vere front collision. 

When the air bag sensor senses severe front 
collision, the retractor will immediately pull 
the front seat belt backward so that the seat 
belt could restrict the front passenger securely. 
The front seat belt pretensioner will still work 
even if the front seat is empty. 
Collision accident at certain speed and angle 
may result in the failure of seat belt preten-
sioner to work together with SRS air bag si-
multaneously.

Warning

   

After inserting the tab, make sure 

the tab is locked in the buckle and the 
seat belt is not distorted. 

   

Do not insert the objects such as 

coin and clip into the seat belt lest they 
hamper the proper fastening of the seat 
belt. 

  

If the seat belt does not work prop-

erly, do not sit in the seat in question be-
fore the belt is repaired, because it fails 
to protect and cause body injury.
