5.2.2
Fault on the auxiliary winch limit switch system in ascent
The malfunction of the limit switch system can be caused both by an
unsuitable adjustment of the limit switch and by a fault on the electric-
solenoid valve circuit. Proceed with an elimination process:
•
engine off, key in the ignition turned to On;
•
check the electric operation of the circuit by activating the limit switch
manually; when the contact closes the indicator light on the connector
of solenoid valve E13 must switch on (connection integrity) and
solenoid valve E13 must intervene (solenoid valve integrity);
•
check the control lever of the limit switch as per
par. 3.3.2
If one continues until the end of the work shift, one must adopt the
measures contained in
par. 6.2.3
of the "Operator and safety manual"
5.3 Fault on the hole depth measurement system
5.3.1
Fault on the gear wheel (phonic wheel)
One must check there are no mechanical interference between the magnetic
sensors and the phonic wheel (cogged) The contact may result:
•
from the misalignment of the pulley - gear wheel;
•
from the loosening of the sensor;
The nominal distance between the magnetic sensor and the wheel cogs is 5/7
[mm] (gap)
