•
Replacement of the bearing when replacing the rope for excessive wear is
advisable;
•
when rewinding is almost complete, position the rope on the return
pulley and constrain the ends of the rope

•
check the limit switch mechanism;
•
reactivate the descent limit switch of the main winch
•
position the mast in the work position and test the ascent and descent
of the Kelly bar to check that the rope works properly.
While making the 1st drilling hole (after the replacement) check the rope while
the tool is descending into the hole.
At the maximum depth of the tool, with the Kelly bar fully
extended, there must be 3 turns on the drum.
3.2.4
Replacement of the auxiliary winch rope
The auxiliary winch rope must be replaced as follows:
•
configure the drilling machine as per
fig.3.2.4.1
;
•
disengage the ascent limit switch of the auxiliary winch;
•
wear protective gloves;
•
open the collar of the limit switch to free the rope;
•
remove the hook from the eyebolt;
•
control winch rotation to unwind the rope and simultaneously stretch it to
prevent it from getting twisted on the winch drum; do not put your hands
near the winch drum while it is unwinding;
