4.3.2
Lubricant leaks from the winces gear units.
One must disassemble the winch to have it serviced by the manufacturer.
Follow this procedure:
•
wear work gloves;
•
disengage the limit switches;
•
activate the winch and unwind the cable, winding it onto a wooden
support spool;
•
switch the engine off;
•
make sure that the hydraulic oil is at room temperature;
•
provide an oil collection container;
•
disconnect the oil supply pipes, protect the fittings from impurities;
•
secure the winch-gear unit to a suitable hoisting system to keep the
device stable even when the fixing bolts have been removed (main
winch 42 kg, auxiliary winch 27 kg);
•
remove the bolts starting from those in the lowest position;
•
rest the winch on a trailer to move it;
For assembly follow the operations in the reverse order.
4.4 Fluid leaks from the hydraulic circuits.
4.4.1
Oil leaks from a hydraulic cylinder.
In the event of an oil leak from a hydraulic cylinder 1, one must disassemble it
from the machine to have it serviced by the manufacturer. The disassembly
operation must be performed according to these steps:
•
wear work gloves;
•
position the mast as per the configuration in
fig.4.3.1.1,
resting the kelly
bar joint on the ground;
•
make sure that the cylinder in question is not at the end of its stroke (in
this case it would remain under load);
