with integral
priming
pump/hydraulic
ram
Insufficient hydraulic fluid in
reservoir.
System not primed correctly.
Output port not connected.
Release Valve not closed.
Verify reservoir has sufficient fluid to
generate pressure, (at least 75% of
capacity).
Follow priming instructions to ensure
air is removed from the system.
Output port connected to DUT or
fitted with suitable blanking plug.
Ensure Release valve is firmly closed.
Excessive leak
rate.
System not primed correctly.
Incorrectly connected
system (DPI612 to DUT).
DUT has leak.
Worn pressure seal on outlet
port (‘O’ ring & backup ring).
Release Valve not closed.
Follow priming instructions to ensure
air is removed from the system.
Check connecting accessories are
fitted in accordance with instructions
& correct sealing method is in use.
Isolate DUT from DPI612 & check for
leaks in DPI612 & DUT independently.
Inspect seal on pressure port for
signs of wear & replace as necessary.
Ensure Release valve is firmly closed.
Pressure
remains trapped
in system.
Refill/Release valve closed.
Check Refill valve is open, (minimum
1 turn counter-clockwise), & release
valve is open, (minimum 1 turn
counter-clockwise.
Unit will not
reach desired
pressure.
PRV (if fitted) operating at
lower pressure than required.
Check PRV range (if fitted) & adjust
PRV if range is suitable. Fit correct
range PRV.
Re-fit PRV blanking plug supplied
with unit.
