HOT WATER
WARNING:
Hot steam or hot water escape from the steam wand. Never put
your hands or other body parts on or under the steam wand, when the selector switch
is on the steam or hot water position. Place a suitable container under the steam
wand before you turn the selector switch to the steam or hot water position.
1.
Make sure that there is sufficient water in the water tank
(between the MIN and MAX marks).
2. Press the ›on/off‹-switch and turn on the appliance.
3. Turn the black folding switch to the hot water position.
4. Now place your cup under the steam and hot water wand. Now turn the selector
switch counterclockwise to the steam and hot water position. The heating indica-
tor lights up. The thermoblock is heated. Hot water now escapes out of the steam
wand.
5. As soon as there is enough hot water in your cup, turn the selector switch into the
middle – in the standby position.
Note:
Keep the steam and hot water wand always directed to the drip tray if there is no
container underneath it, because residual water may drip out.
Note:
During the hot water process, the heating indicator lights up. The thermoblock is
heated to maintain a constant temperature.
WARNING:
Hot steam or hot water escape from the steam wand. These parts
are very hot. Always ensure not to scald on hot water or steam. Never touch the
steam wand during the steam or hot water production. Hold the steam wand during
operation cautiously by the attachment. Be careful not to scald yourself.
Note:
You can swivel the steam wand as desired in order to work comfortably. Hold the
steam wand only by the dark attachment.
ATTENTION:
The cup bottom and the vessel can be very hot because of the hot
water.
WARNING:
Do not remove the steam and hot water wand from the cup, as
long as hot water is still leaking. Hot water may splash out of the cup. Turn the selec-
tor switch always first to center into the standby position before removing the cup from
