filter then fill water tank with des-
cale solution. We advise decalci-
fying the machine on a regular basis
using Gastroback Premium DIscalers
(Art.-No.: 98175). Fill tank to max
line with water and replace.

Ensure drip tray is empty and
installed into position. Place cloth
on right side of the drip tray to stop
steam escaping.
NOTE:
Machine will exit and start up without
saving if no operation for 30 seconds
or user presses the EXIT button.
Step 2 – Empty Boilers
a) Remove grey silicon cover on the
right hand lower side of the front
panel marked DESCALE ACCESS.
REMOVE
b) Using a flat-head screwdriver, rotate
the left screw counter-clockwise first,
until valve is fully open. Water will
begin to flow into drip tray from
underneath.
c) Do the same for the right screw.
Steam will be released from the boi-
ler.
CAUTION HOT STEAM!
d) Close valves when water stops flow-
ing through both outlets. Empty drip
tray and re-assemble onto unit.
CAUTION HOT WATER!
e) Press 1 cup button, to proceed to
next step.
Step 3 – Begin De-scale
NOTE:
If water tank has not been removed
then replaced or is empty "Fill Tank"
will be displayed in the LCD.
a) Machine will fill boilers with de-sca-
le solution and heat to temperature.
b) 20 minute timer will begin. Count-
down timer is finished when LCD
leaves BLANK.
(This allows solution to dissolve sca-
le build up).
