the arrow or opposite direction of the arrow, and firmly tighten the screws.
B. For the standard adjustment, adjust so that the top surface of feed dog and the top end of needle
eyelet are flush with the top surface of throat plate when the feed dog descends below the throat
plate.
C. To advance the feed timing in order to prevent uneven material feed, move the feed eccentric cam
in the direction of the arrow.
D. To delay the feed timing in order to increase stitch tightness, move the feed eccentric cam in the
opposite direction from the arrow. (See Fig.30)

A. Set the feed adjusting dial at 0 on the scale.
B. For standard feed, loosen setscrew (1) a (2), align the tip of the needle and the top surface of the
feed dog with the top surface of the throat plate when the feed dog rises above the throat plate.
Then, tighten the setscrew securely. (See Fig.31)
