The G1000 supports dual datalink installation of both the GSR 56 for GFDS Worldwide Weather and the

GDL69A for XM WX Satellite Weather. Only one set of datalink weather products (GFDS or XM WX) can be

displayed at a time.

Switching between GFDS and XM WX datalink sources:

Turn the large

FMS

Knob on the MFD to select the MAP page group.

Turn the small

FMS

Knob to select the GFDS (or XM) Weather Data Link Page.

Press the MENU Key.

Turn the large

FMS

Knob to select ‘Display GFDS Weather’ or ‘Display XM’ Weather’ (choice dependent on

current weather source) and press the

ENT

Key.
