5.1.3 System Status Page Failure Indications
The System Status Page in the AUX group of pages displays the status for all detected LRUs.
Active LRUs are indicated by green check marks and failed LRUs are indicated by red “X”s.

5.1.4 Data Path Failure Messages
In addition to LRU failure annunciations, data path messages can also be used to help identify a
faulty LRU. The following message indicates that a data path connected to the GDU (MFD or
PFD) or the GIA 63/GIA 63W (1 or 2) has failed.
'FAILED PATH – A data path has failed. Check configuration mode'
The failed path message is triggered by the timeout of a digital channel. The channels that are
checked are displayed on these configuration pages:
1.
Main GDU RS-232/ARINC 429 Configuration Page (PFD1/2, and MFD) (Figure 5-3).
2.
GIA RS-232/ARINC 429 Configuration Page (GIA1 and GIA2) (Figure 5-4).
3.
GIA RS-485 Configuration Page (GIA1 and GIA2) (Figure 5-5).
Once the failed path message is displayed, it remains on the list of messages until the next power
cycle.
