Operating The Sealed Hotplate  

(SS/SU) Models

1.  Before using sealed hotplates for the first time they 

should be heated at setting 3 for five (5) minutes. This will 

harden and burn off the protective coating.

2.  Set the six heat switch dial to the desired position for 1 to 6.

3.  Do not preheat.
