Necessary work on live parts and elements
must be carried out in the presence of a
second person who can cut off the power
supply in case of danger by operating the
main power switch.
Carry out welding, flame-cutting and
grinding work on the machine/unit only if
this has been expressly authorized, as there
may be a risk of explosion and fire.
Before carrying out welding, flame-cutting
and grinding operations, clean the
machine/unit and its surroundings from
dust and other inflammable substances and
make sure that the premises are adequately
ventilated (risk of explosion)!
Adhere to the regulations valid for the place
of operation!
Observe any existing national regulation if
work is to be carried out in small rooms.
Work on high pressure air equipment must
only be carried out by persons with special
knowledge and experience of high pressure
air systems.
Check all lines, hoses and threaded
connections regularly for leaks and obvious
damage. Damage must be Repaired
immediately. High pressure air may cause
serious injury or death.
Depressurize all system sections, pressure
pipes, tubing and hoses which are to be
removed in accordance with the specific
instructions for the assemblies concerned
before carrying out any repair work.
Gas, Dust, Steam And Smoke
Pneumatics
Compressed-air lines must be laid and fitted
properly. Ensure that no connections are
exchanged. The fittings, lengths and quality
of hoses must comply with the technical
requirements.
