1. STARTING THE ENGINE
WARNING! Do not operate the machine in a closed or poorly ventilated
area as the exhaust gas contains poisonous substance. Keep hands,
feet, hair and clothing away from all the moving parts of the lawn
mower. The exhaust and other parts of the machine will become
hot during use. Make sure that the blade is securely fastened before
starting the engine.
NOTE:
• To start the engine, make sure that the spark
plug cap is located on the spark plug and the
machine is filled with correct sufficient oil and
fuel.
• For starting, ensure the lawn mower is set to
the highest height setting so the blades are not
resting deep into the grass.
Electric start (See Fig. J1- J3)
1) Ensure the fully charged battery pack (34) is
inserted into the battery compartment (23).
2) Push the engine variable speed control (20)
upwards towards the handle bar, to the highest
position. (See Fig. J1)
3) Pull the start bar (2) upwards towards the
upper handle (4) bar and keep it in position for
starting the lawn mower and when the lawn
mower is in use. (See Fig. J2)
4) Push the electric start button (19) for approx. 2
seconds to start the engine.
5) To increase the engine speed, press down the
engine variable speed control (20) towards the
engine, to a higher speed position. (See Fig. J3)
NOTE:
When the engine speed is at its highest, it
is recommended for catcher mowing. When the
