9.1.
WATER TANK

CAUTION
Chemicals
Acid burns and heat burns of the skin, eyes, hands or feet.
» Wear safety glasses and protective gloves.
» Dispose of the compounds in accordance with the local regula-
tions.
» Comply with the safety data sheet from the respective com-
pound.
1. Open both the doors for access to the water tank.
2. Pull out the water tank.
3. Place the container under the outlet valves and open the out-
let valves.
4. Clean the water tank and dispose of the chemicals in accord-
ance with the national and regional regulations.
5. Alternatively use the wet and dry vacuum cleaner (Article no.
078541 751-11) to suck the contents from the entire water
tank.
6. Take out the filter, wash it and reinstall it.
7. Push the water tank into the surface finishing machine and
lock the doors.
10. Maintenance
It is mandatory to comply with the maintenance intervals.
DANGER
Electrically live components
Risk of fatal electric shock.
» Before starting any maintenance work switch the unit off and
disconnect it from the power supply, release it and protect it
from being switched on again.
» Check that the system is electrically dead, earth it and short cir-
cuit it.
» Insulate any adjacent electrically live components.
» Maintenance and repair may be performed only by electrical
specialists.
» If any live components suffer damage, have them repaired im-
mediately.

If the hold-down clamps are no longer holding down the cover
on the trough.
1. Loosen the upper cap nut from the hold-down clamp.
» Take off the hold-down clamp together with the plastic
cover.
