To be fully functional the following process needs to be carried out:
•
Stop the vehicle at the next available opportunity.
•
Turn the ignition off and wait 15 seconds.
•
Start the engine, once 15 seconds have elapsed.
•
The adaptive speed system should now be fully functional and the user can now set a desired
speed, allowing the adaptive speed control to operate as normal.
When retrofitting or replacing the CCM ECU, Radar, the vertical alignment needs to be performed on
all except L460, L461 L663 and L538 2018+. No horizontal adjustment exists. Prior to reinstalling the
bumper cover, proceed with the following;
•
Make sure the vehicle is on a level surface
•
Place an inclinometer or equivalent device on the CCM ECU (mobile phone App may work) to
measure vertical alignment.
•
If necessary, adjust the torx screw until the sensor is leveled (+/-0.5 degrees)

Calibration
This triggers a process where the calibration selection being transmitted over CAN as part of central
car configuration is learned and stored in flash memory.

This function is used when the steering rack is replaced

The power steering ECU will learn the vehicle’s VIN.
Usages
This function is used when the steering rack is replaced.
Soft Lock Stops Reset
This function is used when replacing the steering column or the steering angle sensor.
