The Profibus Port
The Profibus port is on the front of the module near the center as
shown in

The Configuration (RS232) Port
There is an RS232 port on the lower front of the module as shown
in
. This is used to connect to a PC in order
to download a file representing your Profibus network.

D connectors with switchable (ON/OFF) termination,
such as Siemens
6ES7 972-0BA11-0XA0 or
6ES7 972-0BB11-0XA0.
Only use Profibus type A cable, such as Belden 3079A
or Siemens 6XV1 830-0AH10.
