Figure 5-20 corresponds to a system with 4 streams that is capable of measuring H
2
S and
total sulfur and presents the tab to edit parameters related to the zero gas (the tabs for the
calibration gas and the reference gases are identical to the zero gas tab shown in the figure).
Figure 5-22: Stream Tab - Zero Tab
A Stream number tab and a Gas run type tab are highlighted to identify the stream/gas run
type for which parameters are being edited (e.g. in Figure 5-22, the stream 1 zero gas run is
being edited). The system described in Figure 5-22 includes 24 screens which can be edited,
i.e.: 4 streams, each with 6 gas run type tabs – H2S, Total Sulfur, Calibration, Reference 1
and 2, and Zero.
For a given stream the three parameters and three check boxes on the left of the tab are
universal for all the gas run types of that stream. That is to say, the value/setting will be
employed for all gas type tabs for that stream (e.g. the same gain factor is used for H2S, total
sulfur, calibration, reference 1 and 2, and zero) All other parameters are independent
parameters and can be different for the various gas run types of a given stream.
The
Calibration Gain Calculator
at the top of the tab is present on all screens within the
Streams
tab, and is used to manually calculate a gain factor for the analyzer. See section 6.6
for more information about analyzer calibration.
