Position and Bearing Correction
2.3.1
Radar map correction
When there is positional error between the radar screen and marks/lines, do the
following to correct it.
1. Press the [CHART ALIGN] key. “MAN ALIGN” appears at the right side of
screen.
2. Operate the trackball to align the radar screen and radar map.
3. Press the [CHART ALIGN] key again. “MAN ALIGNED” replaces “MAN
ALIGN”.
2.3.2
Cursor data correction
You can correct cursor L/L position data as below.
1. Press the [NAV MENU] and [1] keys to show the RADAR MAP menu.
2. Press the [4] key twice to choose ON from ALIGN +CURSOR and then press
the [ENTER] key. “M. AL” (Manual Aligned) appears next to cursor position in
the text area. (To remove the correction, choose OFF. If you are using the
AIS function, choose ON.)
3. Press the [NAV MENU] key to close the menu.
2.3.3
Releasing the radar map correction
1. Press the [NAV MENU] and [1] keys to show the RADAR MAP menu.
2. Press the [3] key to choose NAV DATA POSN.
3. Press the [ENTER] key. The correction is released and “MAN ALIGNED”
disappears.
4. Press the [NAV MENU] key to close the menu.
