Recording and Replaying Data
3.8.1
Formatting memory (RAM) cards
Before you can use a memory (RAM) card with the RP-340, the card must be
formatted. Formatting prepares the recording surface of the card for use with the
system, and deletes all data recorded in the memory card.
Note:
You can format cards you’ve used before, however, in which case all prior
information on them is erased.
1. Insert the memory card in the right side card slot.

2. Press the [NAV MENU] and [6] keys to choose CARD.
3. Press the [6] key to choose RECORD.
4. Press the [ENTER] key to show the RECORD CARD menu.

5. Press the [0] key twice to choose YES from FORMAT.
6. Press the [ENTER] key. When formatting is completed the message
“COMPLETED” appears.
7. Press the [NAV MENU] key to close the menu.
