Outdoor Unit Overvoltage
Check for possible causes in the list below (this list is
not exhaustive):
•
Problem with the compressor
•
Main board
•
Faulty power relaySteps to be followed before
performing any work on the Inverter module:
•
First switch off the system using the circuit
breaker at the head of the line
•
Remove the unit cover and then remove the
Inverter module cover
•
Measure the voltage at the condenser terminals
You should find a value of 5 Vdc or less
Inspection of the IPM (mounted on transistor PCB) (Only for WO*A080LFCA and
WO*A100LFTA models)
transistor PCB-Capacitor PCB and Transistor PCB-
Inverter compressor
Set the tester to resistance mode, and measure the
resistance between the following terminals :
TM301 (P) – TM305 (U) / TM304 (V) / TM303 (W)
TM302 (N) – TM305(U) / TM304 (V) / TM303 (W)
Judge the results as follows :
