7.2.4 Boot Features Submenu
This submenu is for system startup settings.

Item Setting Description
POST Errors Enabled (Unchangeable) Sets whether to stop the boot process and shut down the
system in case a Power On Self Test (POST) error is detected.
SM Error Halt • Disabled (Initial value)
• Enabled Sets whether to interrupt the system startup when an error
occurs in the fan or the temperature sensor.
Fast Boot Disabled (Unchangeable) Sets whether to reduce the scope of POST and thereby speed
up system startup.
POST Diagnostic
Screen Enabled (Unchangeable) Sets whether to display POST Diagnostic Screen.
Boot Menu Enabled (Unchangeable) Sets whether to display the boot drive selection window after
POST.
NumLock Auto (Unchangeable) Sets the state of the NumLock key during startup.
